How to Create a Profile on the CCSF Career Network
In order to view jobs and internship opportunities on the CCSF Career Network website, you have to create an account on the site in order to show that you either are or at one time were a student.

Step One
When you click on the "Create My Profile" link located on this page, you will be brought to a sign up form. The first step is to select what you are signing up as (a student, an alumnus, etc.) by clicking on the drop-down box.
After that, fill in your name, email address where you would like to receive alerts, and choose a password for yourself. Then click Sign Up.

Step Two
Fill in the name of your college, in this case City College of San Francisco. Along with that, we ask that you select a Major, a Degree, and a Graduation Date.
Browse through the list of majors and select the one most suited to you. If you do not have a major, or are undecided, you can select Not Specified from the drop-down box.
For a degree type, select the degree or certificate most appropriate to your studies at City College.
For a Grad Date, select the date that is closest to when your studies at City College will be completed.

Step Three
Also on this page is an optional work history section. Here you can fill out where you have worked, your job title, and how long you were there.
Again, this is optional, so if you would like to fill this out later, you can click on Save & Continue.

Step Four
If there is a specific company that you are interested in, let us know! You can enter as many of them as you would like. Along with that, tell us what jobs you're interested in at those companies.
When we have something in our system that matches your interests, we will send you an email.
Once you have entered the companies and job types, click on Save & Continue. If you would like to fill out this information later, click on Skip.

Step Five
On this page, you can select a personalized address for your profile. This will let you easily direct others to your profile, allowing you to put it on your resume, business cards, or advertise it on other websites.

Congratulations! You now have a profile on the CCSF Career Network!
You are now free to browse and apply for jobs, internships, and other career opportunities. From this page, you can edit and add to your profile, or go directly to the jobs and start looking.

To navigate to the jobs section from your profile, scroll down and click on City College of San Francisco under Education.

The first page you will see will list specific majors and departments within City College. If you are a member of one of these programs, click on the group and you will be able to access job opportunities specifically for that area of study and to join the Career Network of that department.

Step Nine
As a member of the City College of San Francisco Career Network, you are free to browse career opportunities here. Jobs will be updated daily, so keep checking back.
To limit the jobs that are shown, use the filters located on the left-side of the page which will allow you to sort by location, experience, and job type amongst other categories.
